Wall deterioration arisen from realization of building and assembly works in immediate proximity to the old building
The walls of the apartment house (11 Myasnitskaya str.) cracked at night due to vibration and shock impact of nearby construction works.

There was no possibility to stop the process of destruction and the house was demolished. Survey of the underground space and evaluation of the strength of the building foundations were not carried out either during the building designing or after the occurrence of emergency conditions. |
